Introducing Mother-To-Be To The Whelping Box
Before introducing the mother-to-be to her whelping box, we lined the bottom of the box with news-print packing paper. Regular newspaper will work fine, but we prefer the packing paper... it is ink free and we feel it is cleaner... plus it is fairly inexpensive.
Mother-to-be has been watching us ready the whelping box intently. She is ready to come near and investigate. Watch below as she instinctively knew what it was for and begins to nest.
