Journal, Puppy Record, Dedicated Calendar and Resources
Journal - Once our mother-to-be came in season, we began keeping a journal in which I record the vet test results, breeding information, temperature charting and any occurrence that was relevant to this litter.
Puppy Birth Record Sheet - To record each puppy's time of birth, sex, color, markings, birth weight, comments, etc. We keep this in the Whelping Room
Dedicated Calendar - Used for our Scotties activities only. Used to keep us on track of the breeding dates, due dates, testing dates, x-ray dates, grooming dates, training dates and all other "begin to" or "watch for" dates.
Resources - We own a number of books, which are read often and packed full of great information about breeding, whelping and raising dogs.
