A Little Family History

Allen and Jeannette Stark (Robin's parents) owned Starkette Kennels, first showing Poodles, then Miniature Schnauzers, and most recently, Havanese. Dad did most of the grooming, while mom did the breeding, puppy duties and handling (both confirmation and obedience.)

Ch Starkette's Cookies n' Cream wins BOB at Westminster KC in the year 2000. This was the first year the breed was invited to compete. Mom was instrumental in getting the breed recognized by the AKC. MORE STARKETTE

As a youth, Robin traveled with her family to dog shows and enjoyed participating in Junior Handling Events. MORE JUNIOR HANDLING
